Isao Tozuka

Isao Tozuka began as a chef in Japan. He was originally trained as a French chef, but explored his expertise to Japanese and Korean cuisines. With his wife, Chiyo-san, who had experience with Japanese BBQ in Osaka, Japan, he introduced traditional taste of authentic Japanese style BBQ to Chicago. He is known to use premium ingredients such as Wagyu beef imported from Japan and Kobe beef for his cuisine.
